Texas A&M University (TAMU), one of the largest and oldest universities in the US, approached our software development partner Inventive, a Texas-based custom software development company, with the task of switching its departments’ websites to a new website platform while redesigning the pages and updating the content.Â
Web development using CSS, JS, Bootstrap, Cascade CMS; QA
Implementation on a new web platform, redesign of the pages, meticulous content placement and updates, ensuring the responsiveness of the site, all within a very limited timeframe
First in line for renovation was TAMU’s psychiatry department site, and EGO’s part of the job included web development and quality assurance. The content creation on TAMU’s part took longer than expected, and some additional content had to be sent in on the fly, so we had to work fast to meet the deadlines. Also, we’ve gone an extra mile ensuring the site’s responsiveness (the ability to render well on devices of various screen sizes and resolutions).Â
The client is happy with the results, and the websites for other TAMU departments are currently in the pipeline, including the ones for the Center of Innovation in Advanced Development and Manufacturing, Institute of Biosciences and Technology, A&M Rural and Community Health Institute, Clinical Operations and Integration of Dentistry Clinics.
